1. Run the setup program.
2. Set your password and input your email.
3. Then follow the prompts to complete installation.

Password safety:
Must remember your password or keep it in a safe place,because you can not run this program if lost it.

1. Click "Uninstall GiliSoft File Lock Pro" from start menu.
2. Input password .
3. Click the OK button to continue the uninstall progress.

Using main window to hide files/folders/drivers:

Hide files:
1) Enter "Hide Files" panel.
2) Click "Add Files" button to add files to the list.
3) Select the files you want to hide.
4) Click "Hide Files" button.


Hide folders:
1) Enter "Hide Folders" panel.
2) Click "Add Folders" button to add fodler to the list.
3) Select the folders you want to hide.
4) Click "Hide Folders" button.


Hide drives:
1) Enter "Hide Drives" panel.
2) Select the drives you want to hide.
3) Click "Hide Drives" button.


Using windows explorer's context menu.

1. Select the file/folder/drive which you want to hide and right click mouse.
2. Select "GiliSoft File Lock Pro->Hide" item.
3. Enter password and click OK button.

Using main window to deny reading files/folders/drivers:

Deny reading files:
1) Enter "Lock Files" panel.
2) Click "Add Files" button to add files to the list.
3) Select the files you want to lock.
4) Click "Lock Files" button.


Deny opening folders:
1) Enter "Lock Folders" panel.
2) Click "Add Folders" button to add files to the list.
3) Select the folders you want to lock.
4) Click "Lock Folders " button.


Deny opening drives:
1) Enter "Lock Drives" panel.
2) Select the drives you want to lock.
3) Click "Lock Drives " button.


Using windows explorer's context menu.

1. Select the file/folder/drive which you want to disable read and right click mouse.
2. Select "GiliSoft File Lock Pro->Deny read" item.
3. Enter password and Click OK button.

Using main window to disable writing files/folders/drivers:

Deny writing files:
1) Enter "Protect Files" panel.
2) Click "Add Files" button to add files to the list.
3) Select the files you want to deny write.
4) Click "Protect Files" button.



Deny writing folders:
1) Enter "Protect Folders" panel.
2) Click "Add Folders" button to add files to the list.
3) Select the folders you want to deny write.
4) Click "Protect Folders " button.


Deny writing drives:
1) Enter "Protect Drives" panel.
2) Select the drives you want to deny write.
3) Click "Protect Drives " button.

Show the hidden files:
1) Enter "Hide Files" panel.
2) Select the hidden files you want to show.

Show the hidden drives:
1) Enter "Hide Drives" panel.
2) Select the hidden drives you want to show.

Remove file's read protection:
1) Enter "Lock Files" panel.
2) Select the read-protected files you want to remove read protection.
4) Click "Unlock Files" button.


Remove folder's read protection:
1) Enter "Lock Folders" panel.
2) Select the read-protected folders you want to remove read protection.
4) Click "Unlock Folders " button.


Remove disk's read protection:
1) Enter "Lock Drives" panel.
2) Select the read-protected drives you want to remove read protection.
3) Click "Unlock Drives " button.

Remove disk's write protection:
1) Enter "Protect Drives" panel.
2) Select the write-protected drives you want to remove write protection.
3) Click "Unprotect Drives " button.

2. Select "GiliSoft File Lock Pro->Enable write" item.
3. Enter password and Click OK button.

1. Right-click the file or folder you want to encrypt.
2. Click item "GiliSoft File Lock Pro->Encrypt it to .EXE ".
3. Set a password for the exe file and click "OK" button.

1. Right-click the file you want to safely delete.
2. Click menu item "GiliSoft File Lock Pro->Shred and Delete it".

1. Right-click the file or folder that you want to encrypt.
2. Click menu item "GiliSoft File Lock Pro->Encrypt a copy ".
3. Set a password for the file and click "OK" button.

1. Double click the encrypted file.
2. Enter the password of encrypted file to decrypt it.

If have set a email ever, you can click "Retrieve Password" to get lost password.

Upgrade to Pro version:

If you have installed GiliSoft File Lock on your computer and you want to install GiliSoft File Lock Pro, please uninstall GiliSoft File Lock, then install GiliSoft File Lock Pro.
