


Prior to encrypt the system partition, it is strongly recommended to create a bootable Windows CD/DVD disk (LiveCD) with GiliSoft Full Disk Encryption.
That will allow you to gain access to data in case of any emergency (being unable to boot the system), and also allows for partition open and decryption operations to be performed.
Step 1: Get the LiveCD image file from support@gilisoft.com
Step 2: Burn it into a CD/DVD.
Step 1: Choose the system drive and other drives you want to encrypt in the 'Local disks' window.
Step 2: Click 'Encrypt' button and set a password for your computer.
Step 3: The encryption process will spend a few hours ,please be patient.
Step 1: Choose the drives that you want to decrypt in the 'Local disks' window.
Step 2: Click 'Decrypt' button and input the correct password.
Step 3: The decryption process perhaps will spend a few hours ,please be patient.
Step 1: Choose the drive that you want to decrypt in the 'Removable disks' window.
Step 2: Click 'Encrypt' button and set a password.
Step 3: The encryption process perhaps will spend a few hours ,please be patient.
Step 1: Insert your encrypted USB disk and click 'Refresh' button in the 'Removable disks' window.
Step 2: Click 'Mount' button and enter the correct password of your USB drive.
Step 3: Now,you can access this drive in explorer of Windows.

Step 2: Click 'Mount' button and enter the correct password of your USB drive.
Step 3: Click 'Decrypt' button to decrypt this USB disk.
Step 1: Set CDROM as the first default boot device in BIOS settings.
Step 2: Insert the LiveCD into CDROM and boot from it.
Step 3: Run GiliSoft Full Disk Encryption on desktop of LiveCD .
Step 4: Mount or decrypt the encrypted disk to solve your system problem.
Step 1: There is a prompt -"If there is no password,simply press ENTER.Otherwise type in the password and then press ENTER." when your start your computer.
Step 2: If you did not encrypt any system drive ,please press ENTER.
Otherwise type in the password and then press ENTER." when your start your computer.
Step 1: As you know,the password of local disks is the same for one computer.
If you want to change password,the encryption portion of encryption disk must be 100% .
Step 2: When the 'Password' in Local disk window is enabled,you can change it.
Step 3: When the password is changed, the password on other system (multi-system environment) also changed at the same time .
