GiliSoft File Lock Pro is a data locking software offering an efficient and fast password locking protection with an easy to use graphical interface. The program lets you lock files and folders on its existing location without moving or copying them to any other location. It does not only protect your locked files and folders from getting accessed by your kids, room-mate, neighbor and other non-technical users but also let you encrypt them.
You can lock folders and files through context menu of GiliSoft File Lock Pro. When you right-click a file or folder after installing GiliSoft File Lock Pro, you will see a GiliSoft File Lock Pro’s context menu. Digging in this menu, you will find some options that you can perform on your selected files and folders:

- 2. Encrypt It
- 3. Hide It
- 4.Protect It
The options are self explanatory,when you click “Lock It”,GiliSoft File Lock Pro will ask you enter the password of application to lock it.Then anyone can not view the content of locked data without the password.
When you click “Encrypt It”,GiliSoft File Lock Pro will ask you enter the password of application to encrypt it.Then anyone can not view the content of encrypted data without the password.
When you click “Hide It”,GiliSoft File Lock Pro will ask you enter the password of application to hide it.Then anyone can not view the content of hidden data without the password.
When you click “Protect It”,GiliSoft File Lock Pro will ask you enter the password of application to protect it.Then anyone can not edit the content of protected data without the password.
Folders and files locked by any of the above methods are password protected and cannot be accessed using explorer, Windows search or any other search utilities. Hiding feature maintains your privacy, so that no one can get a trace of what you’ve kept in these locked folders.
