Not necessarily. Reflowable eBooks adjust text to the reader's screen and font settings, while PDF uses fixed pages. Converting between them can change pagination, line wrapping, image placement, footnotes, and navigation. Check the cover, chapter order, table of contents, special characters, and illustrations in the intended reader.
A store download may be tied to an account or reader application rather than being an independently usable eBook file. Other causes include an unsupported format or a damaged download. Format conversion is not the same as DRM removal. Confirm that the source opens normally and use an unprotected supported source file for the conversion task.
