Burn Audio and MP3 CDs on Windows

GiliSoft MP3 CD Maker is for users who still need physical music discs for car stereos, home CD players, portable CD players, training kits, events, collections, and legacy playback environments. It can create standard Audio CDs for broad compatibility, or MP3/WMA CD and DVD discs when compatible devices can play more tracks from one disc.

Use it to build discs from MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, FLAC, OGG, APE and supported video sources such as MP4, AVI, WMV, MKV, FLV, MPEG, H.264 and AVCHD. You can arrange track order, cut audio segments, mix tracks, adjust equalizer settings, apply voice effects, burn multiple copies, erase rewritable discs, and create ISO, BIN, or APE disc image files when a physical burn is not immediately required.

For converting source audio before burning, see Audio Converter Ripper. For broader audio tools, see Audio Toolbox.

MP3 CD Maker Features

Create Standard Audio CDs

Burn playable Audio CDs from popular audio files for traditional CD players, older car stereos, and portable playback hardware.

Burn MP3 CD and MP3 DVD

Create higher-capacity MP3 discs for compatible car players, DVD players, computers, and archive collections with many tracks on one disc.

Create WMA CD and WMA DVD

Prepare WMA discs for legacy Windows and in-car playback environments that still support WMA-based music discs.

Build Music Discs from Video Sources

Use supported video files as sources when the soundtrack or music inside a video needs to become part of a music disc project.

Burn Multiple Copies

Set the copy count and produce repeated discs for events, training kits, vehicle fleets, or backup sets without repeating every setup step.

Cut Audio Before Burning

Trim long tracks by start time and duration so demos, introductions, event music, and short references fit the final disc project better.

Create ISO, BIN, and APE Disc Images

Save music disc projects as image files for virtual drive playback, later burning, backup, or more controlled handoff.

Prepare Audio Before Burning

Mix source audio, adjust equalizer settings, and apply available voice effects when tracks need quick preparation before writing the disc.

Top How-to Guides

Choose the Right Music Disc Type

Standard Audio CD

Choose this format for traditional CD players and older car stereos. Capacity is based on playback time, but compatibility is broader than compressed music discs.

MP3 or WMA CD

Store many more songs as compressed files on one disc. The destination player must explicitly support MP3 or WMA disc playback.

MP3 or WMA DVD

Use higher-capacity DVD media for larger offline music collections only when the computer, car unit, or home player supports that disc and file type.

Disc Image File

Save the prepared project as an available image format when it needs to be archived, mounted, transferred, or burned again later.
